Safeguarding starts with awareness. This course empowers students to recognise safeguarding issues, seek support, and contribute to a safe university community.
This course helps students understand what safeguarding means and how to play an active role in creating a safe environment on and off campus.
By sharing real-life examples and practical insights, students will become more aware of online abuse and provides tips on responding to potential safeguarding issues, especially while on placements.

With a focus on meeting Ofsted’s standards, this course equips students to navigate safeguarding concerns, know where to seek help, and build a stronger, supportive campus community.
It also informs students about the mental health and wellbeing resources available through university services, including Tutors, Student Advice and Wellbeing, and Programme Leaders.
