Stress happens, but students don’t have to face it alone. This course equips students with the tools and techniques to manage stress effectively and prioritise their mental wellbeing.
This Stress Management course provides students with the skills and strategies to identify, understand, and cope with stress in healthy ways.
By exploring personal sources of stress and early signs of feeling overwhelmed, students will learn that stress is a natural part of life, and that there are practical steps to manage it.
“Before GoodCourse, we didn’t have the ability to provide students needed content in such an engaging way.” – Tanya Purdy, Director of BWell Health Promotion, Brown University
Techniques like deep breathing, mindfulness, and grounding exercises are introduced to use in high-stress moments. The course also emphasizes the role of physical health – such as sleep, nutrition, and exercise – on mental wellbeing.
Through time management strategies, self-compassion, and building resilience, students will gain the tools to reduce stress, handle setbacks, and use available support resources when needed.
